Telangana Governor meets PM Modi in New Delhi

The Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital on Monday.

The meeting, which took place at the Prime Minister’s official residence, was confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) through a post on X (formerly Twitter).

“Governor of Telangana, Shri @Jishnu_Devvarma, met Prime Minister @narendramodi,” the PMO wrote on the microblogging platform, sharing a photo from the meeting.

Though the details of the discussion remain undisclosed, such meetings are generally considered a part of regular protocol between constitutional authorities and central leadership, often involving discussions on administrative and developmental matters concerning the state.
