The capital city of Agartala was immersed in vibrant colours and festive cheer today as people celebrated the festival of Holi with great enthusiasm and joy.

Like every year, a large number of people thronged various parts of the city to take part in the celebrations. The Dimsagar area, in particular, witnessed a huge gathering from the early hours of the morning, with people of all ages reveling in the festivities with colours and abir.

At Dimsagar in Agartala young men and women, along with elderly residents, were seen celebrating with friends and family members, smearing each other with colours and exchanging warm greetings. Festive music filled the air, and participants danced joyfully to the lively tunes, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

Meanwhile, the Children’s Park area of the capital also saw an overwhelming crowd on the occasion. From the morning onwards, people gathered in large numbers to take part in the colour play. The excitement and enthusiasm of children and teenagers were particularly noticeable, as the entire area came alive with splashes of colours, abir, and water.

The festival, which carries a message of peace and harmony, witnessed widespread participation from people of all communities, religions, and backgrounds. Celebrating together, they set a shining example of unity, brotherhood, and communal harmony.

The overall atmosphere in the capital remained joyful, vibrant, and filled with the true spirit of Holi.
