The supply of petrol, diesel, and essential commodities in the state remains normal. This was stated by Debapriya Bardhan, Special Secretary of the Food Department, at a press conference held today at the office of the Food, Population, and Consumer Affairs Department.
During the press meet, he mentioned that the state currently has around 70,000 LPG connections, and the government is working to increase this number. The price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder is currently Rs 2,587.
The state government is ensuring the supply of LPG, petrol, diesel, and essential goods in line with the directives of the central government.
Special measures have been put in place by the Food Department to prevent black marketing of LPG, petrol, and diesel. Sumit Lodh, along with other officials, was also present at the conference.
