Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha expressed strong confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will form the government in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) in the upcoming elections.
Highlighting the trust and support of the Janajati community, Dr. Saha said, “The unwavering faith of our brothers and sisters in the ADC area is one of the BJP’s greatest strengths. We are the only reliable option for the overall development of the region and for improving the quality of life of its people.”
Dr. Saha made these remarks while participating in the nomination filing ceremony of BJP candidates for the TTAADC elections in Longtharai Valley. The party has fielded Bipin Debbarma (Damchhara-Kachuchhara), Sukesh Dutta Barua (Monu-Chailenga), and Esmail Joy Tripura (ChaoMonu) as its candidates from the valley.
He added that today marked the final day for submitting nomination papers and praised the enthusiasm among both party leaders and the public. “The state leadership of BJP has been actively participating in the nomination process across all regions. Today, in Longtharai Valley, three candidates filed their papers amidst a huge rally, showcasing how elections should be conducted in a democratic manner,” he said.
Dr. Saha also emphasized the strong public faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was reflected in the large turnout for the nomination process. “With 28 candidates filing their nomination papers statewide today, we are confident that BJP will form the ADC government this time,” he stated.
The event was attended by MLA Shambhu Lal Chakma, the three nominated candidates, and senior BJP leaders, along with a large gathering of party workers and supporters who joined the nomination procession with great enthusiasm.
