Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today asserted that the overall development of the Janajati community remains one of the foremost priorities of the state government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Expressing strong confidence ahead of the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) and Village Council elections, Dr. Saha said the BJP is poised to secure a resounding victory.

He maintained that a BJP-led government will be formed in the District Council, adding that public trust and confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP have grown significantly over the years.

Dr. Saha was addressing an organizational programme held at the TTAADC headquarters in Khumulwng Bazar. Earlier in the day, a massive procession led by the Chief Minister passed through various roads of Khumulwng, drawing enthusiastic participation from a large number of party workers and supporters.

Referring to the upcoming ADC elections, the Chief Minister said a grand rally was organized at the ADC headquarters under the banner of “Janajati Empowerment and Tripura Empowerment.”

“From the very name of this rally, it is clear that everyone must stand firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, extending their full support, trust, and cooperation for sustained development. Since assuming office in 2014, Prime Minister Modi has consistently prioritized the welfare and advancement of the Janajati community. In the coming days as well, no party other than the BJP can ensure genuine development for the tribals. We are committed to this cause wholeheartedly,” he said.

Dr. Saha further emphasized that meaningful change in the present condition of the TTAADC is possible only with complete support for the BJP.

“I am confident that the Janajati community now understands and trusts the Bharatiya Janata Party. For years, people witnessed mere lip service. Today, the BJP is delivering real and tangible development for the Janajatis. Across the country, people are extending their support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP. Tripura will be no exception. The BJP will register a decisive victory in the forthcoming District Council and Village Council elections, and the party will form the government in the District Cou

ncil,” he added.
