North Tripura has been recognized as one of the top five best-performing districts under the PM-JANMAN (Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan) program by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
The award was presented today by President of India, Droupadi Murmu, to District Magistrate Chandni Chandran in recognition of the district’s exceptional performance.
The North District Administration shared on Facebook that the recognition reflects the “excellent work done by the DWO, BDOs, and all line departments under the guidance of the Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Tripura.”
Alongside North Tripura, the districts of Dhamtari (Chhattisgarh), Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh), Udham Singh Nagar (Uttarakhand), and Navsari (Gujarat) were also felicitated for their outstanding contributions under the PM-JANMAN initiative.
