Ahead of the by-election in Dharmanagar, Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath today held a door-to-door campaign with the BJP-nominated candidate Jahar Chakraborty.

Today, the Minister held the door-to-door campaign in booth numbers 35 and 51 in Dharmanagar along with the candidate. Later, the Minister said that during the door-to-door campaign it was clearly visible that BJP will win here in Dharmanagar.

“Today I held a door-to-door campaign in booths number 35 and 51, with only one appeal – let the chariot of development not stop. The faith of the people in Jahar Chakraborty, our nominated candidate, is visible, as if a promise of trust was made in silent words. Smiles were found at every door, blessings were received in words, and the mind was filled with an invisible power. This love shows the way, this trust takes us forward towards the future. The dream of Dharmanagar is now bigger, clearer – an uninterrupted journey of progress,” he said.

The Minister said that this support is possible due to the development work and progress done by BJP in Dharmanagar and across the state.

“We only believe in development work. The BJP government has also increased social pensions in the state. We have provided free rice, houses, roads, and drinking water as well. I have come to Dharmanagar earlier as well, but I had never seen pucca roads before. Our main priority is development and work for the people, and that is why we are gaining support. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is focused on the development of the last person in society, and the same our state government is doing. Today’s door-to-door campaign clearly said that BJP is coming again,” he said.
