A severe road accident on the National Highway at Bagma of Sepahijala District that left at least five people injured after two WagonR cars collided head-on. 

Fire service personnel rushed to the spot immediately after receiving the alert and rescued the injured individuals. 

They were quickly transported to Gomati District Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

According to local residents, one of the vehicles was traveling from Agartala towards Udaipur when it collided head-on with another car coming from the opposite direction. The impact of the crash left five people seriously injured.

Residents reported hearing a loud crash and hurried to the scene. They promptly informed the fire brigade, who arrived without delay and carried out the rescue operation.

Locals also expressed concern that frequent accidents occur along this stretch of road due to over-speeding and reckless driving.
