In a major anti-narcotics operation, the police recovered a large quantity of ganja from a dense forest area at Dashu Para under the jurisdiction of Teliamura Police Station of Khowai District.

Acting on a tip-off from a confidential source, Teliamura police conducted a special operation in the deep forest area. During the search, four abandoned bags were recovered from the jungle.

Upon inspection, the bags were found to contain a total of 37 packets of ganja weighing approximately 37 kilograms. Police suspect that the contraband was hidden there for the purpose of illegal trafficking.
