The minister congratulated everyone associated with this milestone and described it as a significant step towards strengthening technical education, research and innovation in the state.
He said that IIIT Agartala began its journey on June 25, 2018, and has gradually established a foundation of academic excellence, technical competence and industry exposure.
The minister informed that five batches had completed their academic journey at the institution, with a total of 110 students across these batches.

The proposed permanent campus will be developed on 50 acres of land, providing an opportunity to expand academic activities and create modern facilities for learning and research,” he said.
The minister further said that talent could emerge from Tripura, but its impact must be global.
