The much-anticipated charity event Khathansa Beats 2025 illuminated the stage of Rabindra Bhavan on Sunday evening, drawing an enthusiastic audience eager to witness one of the year’s most vibrant cultural showcases. 

Beginning at 6 PM, the program offered a spectacular blend of traditional dance forms and modern performances enriched with ethnic flair creating a powerful tribute to the region’s diverse heritage.

Director, founder and owner of khathansa Production who is a celebrated choreographer Sharmili Debbarma, renowned for her innovative fusion artistry and deep cultural insight, curated the event with exceptional creativity. Each performance highlighted the richness of indigenous traditions while embracing contemporary expression, making Khathansa Beats 2025 a truly distinctive cultural experience.

The evening was further distinguished by the presence of Suhel Debbarma  Hon’ble Executive Member TTAADC as the Chief Guest. Dr. Sunil Kalai, academician, social activist, and filmmaker graced the occasion as Guest of Honour and delivered a compelling message on the importance of cultural preservation. 

While distinguished special guests were Mr. Suresh Chakma, Medical Tourism Consultant & Influencer, Chennai, Mr. Khirode Debbarma, HOD, Kokbokborok Department, Holy Cross  College, and Mr. Rituraj Krishna, Circle Head, Punjab National Bank, Circle Office Agartala. 

“Culture is our identity and roots. Like a tree which loses its roots cannot grow, a community which loses its culture loses its direction,” Dr. Kalai stated, underscoring the urgent need to safeguard cultural values in a rapidly changing world.

The event received robust institutional and community support. The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) extended sponsorship, affirming its dedication to promoting indigenous art forms and charitable causes. Punjab National Bank served as the title sponsor, while MONDRA collaborated as an event partner. Several other organizations, including Kojan, Swarnakamal Jeweller, and various cultural, commercial, and media groups also joined hands to elevate the program’s success.
