Tripura Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury announced today that all preparations are underway for the grand closing ceremony of the “Unity Promo Fest – 2025,” scheduled to be held on 12 December at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala.

The minister chaired an important preparatory meeting at the state secretariat, attended by the Tourism Department Secretary, IG (Law & Order), District Magistrate of West Tripura, Superintendent of Police of West Tripura, Director and Joint Director of Tourism, along with other senior officials. He emphasized the need for collective cooperation to ensure the successful completion of the event.

Meanwhile, excitement has surged among music lovers as popular Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal is set to perform live at the ceremony on 12 December. Fans across the state are eagerly looking forward to seeing the star in person and enjoying his soulful melodies.

To manage the expected rush, the Tourism Department began distributing entry passes from Monday. On the very first day, Agartala Town Hall witnessed overwhelming crowds. From early morning, long queues formed in front of the Tourism counter as people—young and old—waited patiently under the scorching sun. Many were seen carrying umbrellas and water bottles as they waited for hours to secure their passes just for a chance to watch their favorite singer perform live.

Tourism officials stated that an exceptionally large turnout is anticipated for the event. The huge rush for passes on the opening day clearly shows Jubin Nautiyal’s immense popularity in the state. Similar crowds are expected in the coming days as pass distribution continues.

Preparations for the 12 December event have already reached their final stages. Fans are eagerly waiting to witness the musical maestro’s live performance, hoping for an unforgettable evening.
