Tripura Police have successfully rescued a minor girl who was reportedly abducted from her residence in Indranagar, Agartala, during the night of October 10–11.

The New Capital Complex Police Station received information about the kidnapping late at night, prompting immediate deployment of multiple teams across the state to locate the girl and apprehend those responsible.

“The operation was closely overseen by senior officials. The minor was recovered from the Maharani area of Udaipur Subdivision, under RK Pur Police Station, Gomati District, in the early hours of October 12,” the police said in an official statement.

Authorities have identified four suspects in connection with the case: one adult and three juveniles. The adult suspect has been arrested and will face court proceedings, while the three minors have been taken into custody and will be sent to the Juvenile Justice Board.

After completion of all legal procedures, the rescued girl was safely reunited with her parents.
