In a significant step towards supporting patients and the underprivileged, the Tripura Urban Livelihoods Mission (TULM) has commenced construction of a new Shelter House near the Govind Ballabh Pant (GBP) Hospital.
A site visit was conducted today by Tarit Kanti Chakma, in the presence of key officials including the Chief Engineer of the Urban Development Department, the Assistant Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation, and the TULM state team.
The upcoming Shelter House is designed to provide safe accommodation for patients and shelter for those in need. In addition to lodging, residents will have access to food and other basic amenities, ensuring comfort and support during their stay.
The initiative reflects TULM’s commitment to social welfare and improving urban living conditions in Tripura, reinforcing the state’s focus on inclusive development and compassionate care for vulnerable communities.
