West Agartala Police have recovered 10 stolen motorcycles and returned them to their rightful owners, a senior police official confirmed at a press conference today.
According to police sources, the bikes were stolen from various locations across the area, prompting owners to file formal complaints at the police station. Acting on these complaints, police launched a detailed investigation.
Based on confidential information, police conducted raids at multiple locations, leading to the arrest of six individuals in connection with the thefts. The accused are currently in judicial custody.
During interrogation, the arrested persons reportedly confessed to their involvement in the crimes. Following their statements, police recovered 10 stolen bikes from different locations.
Officials stated that further investigation is ongoing to ascertain whether the accused were involved in other similar theft cases.
