The temple town of Ayodhya is gearing up for another grand occasion as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit on November 25 for a special flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

The city is witnessing intense preparations, with roads being cleaned, new signboards installed, and sanitation teams carrying out extensive maintenance across key areas.

Posters of the Prime Minister have been placed at prominent locations, while the entrance of the Ram Temple displays the devotional inscription, “Jati Pati Puche Nahi Koi, Hari Ka Bhaje So Hari Ka Hoi.” Festive lighting and decorative installations have further brightened the atmosphere.

Security has been heightened across Ayodhya ahead of the event. All CCTV cameras have been activated, with additional units installed in sensitive zones. Verification drives are underway in slum areas and temporary settlements near the district border, police said.

Temple authorities have planned elaborate celebrations this year. Subsidiary temples dedicated to Lord Mahadev, Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesh, and other deities will be specially decorated. Rituals will be conducted by 108 Acharyas under the guidance of Kashi scholar Ganeshwar Shastri. A saffron flag bearing the symbol of the Sun will be hoisted during the ceremony.

Nearly 6,000 guests are expected to attend, making it one of Ayodhya’s busiest periods since the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha in January 2024.
