Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today issued a strong message to a section of the population in Tripura, emphasizing that many people still do not fully understand what the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stands for—but there is still time to do so.
Addressing party workers and citizens, Dr. Saha warned that no irregularities will be tolerated under any circumstances, and necessary instructions are being implemented to ensure discipline within the party.
Highlighting the BJP-led government’s commitment to the welfare of tribal communities, he said, “All the demands of the tribals will be fulfilled. Many do not yet realize the strength and capability of the BJP-led government. Even after transitioning from underground life to mainstream society, the mindset of some individuals has not changed.”
Dr. Saha made these remarks during a program organized around Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat at the Multi-Purpose Hall in Bishramganja, Sepahijala district. He shared his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “Everyone eagerly awaits the Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat on the last Sunday of every month, and today was no exception. The Prime Minister addressed several topics concerning the country and the world, and I am delighted to have joined the Charilam Mandal audience in listening to him.”
The Chief Minister underscored that the BJP grows stronger in the face of obstacles. He cautioned those attempting to disrupt peace, saying, “Many still do not understand the power of our government. We wish to maintain cordial relations and respectful dialogue with everyone. Efforts have been made to integrate those who were once underground into mainstream life. However, the mentality of some remains unchanged. I urge them to refrain from mischief. Any attempt to block roads or carry out activities under the guise of a movement will be met with strict action. Remember, one must think carefully before acting, especially when in a position of vulnerability.”
Reiterating the party’s mission, Dr. Saha said, “There is still time to understand the BJP. We will not tolerate any irregularities in the party, and strict instructions have been issued accordingly. We aim to build a new Tripura through peace, logic, and dialogue. Our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is the best example of leadership in the world today. He responds decisively to challenges, as seen in Operation Sindoor, and is committed to realizing a developed India by 2047. Similarly, we have prepared a blueprint for a developed Tripura 2047.”
He further emphasized that tribal communities now recognize that only a national party like the BJP can ensure their comprehensive development. “The tribals should understand this. We are committed to being together and working for the welfare of all. This government remains steadfast in its dedication to tribal development,” Dr. Saha added.
