A horrifying incident early this morning has left the town of Udaipur in deep shock and grief. In the Chandrapur Beltali area, a reportedly peaceful family was torn apart in a brutal act of violence.

According to allegations, Ajit Das, a science teacher at Bototoli School, killed his wife Rupa Das and their son Diganta Das in a gruesome manner. Local residents said they rushed to the house after hearing sudden screams at dawn, but by the time they arrived, the tragedy had already unfolded.

A family member, Narayan Chandra Das, revealed that Ajit had been suffering from mental health issues over the past few days. Following the incident, he allegedly attempted to take his own life by consuming poison.

He was immediately rushed to Gomati District Hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. Hospital sources report that his condition remains critical.
