Tripura BJP state secretary Devid Debbarma on Tuesday said he is confident that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will take charge of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), adding that people in the region are looking forward to development and change.
He made the statement after submitting his nomination papers for the TTAADC elections at the Khowai Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office.
Debbarma claimed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and state BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya, the party is heading toward a clear victory. He emphasized that the BJP aims to build a transparent and corruption-free district council.
He also noted that the strong turnout of party workers and supporters at rallies reflects growing public support. According to him, the Janajati community is keen on shaping a “New Tripura” and achieving the vision of a “Viksit Tripura.”
