A Civic Action Programme was organized by 108 Battalion BSF at Charandapara Roajapara Senior Basic School, Dyke-IV, Rashiyabari Block, District Dhalai today in the presence of a large number of local civilians.
During the programme, sports items, sports dresses, musical instruments, stationery items, solar lights, furniture, Sintex water tanks, water filters, and miscellaneous items were distributed among the civilians and local clubs.
The Civic Action Programme was presided over by Aloke Kumar Chakraborty, Inspector General, Ftr HQ BSF Tripura, along with the Commandant, 108 Bn BSF, and other civil dignitaries.
The IG BSF acknowledged the cooperation of the border population with BSF in the border areas and reiterated BSF’s commitment towards the welfare and development of the border population.
