The Government of Tripura has ordered a significant reshuffle in the state administration, transferring and reassigning several IAS and TCS officers with immediate effect. 

The notification, issued by the General Administration (Personnel & Training) Department, states that the changes have been made in the interest of public service and will remain in force until further orders.

According to the order, IAS officer Chiranjeeva Anand, previously serving as SDM of Jampuijala, has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Taxes in Agartala. Akhincan Sarkar, TCS SSG, who was Additional Secretary in the Finance Department and held additional charge of Commissioner of Taxes, has been relieved of the additional charge.

Amitabha Chakma, TCS Gr-I, who was Joint Director of the Urban Development Department in Agartala, has now been posted as the SDM of Jampuijala. Meanwhile, Deepak Kumar, IAS, who served as the SDM of Kanchanpur, has been transferred to the Industries and Commerce Department as Director. He will also hold the additional charge of Managing Director of TIDC.

Another IAS officer, Gugulavath Sharath Nayak, who was functioning as SDM of Kamalpur with additional charge of Executive Officer of Kamalpur NP, has now been appointed as CEO of Ayushman Bharat. He will also take on additional responsibilities as Executive Director of THPS and State Mission Director of NHM.

Saju Vaheed A., IAS, who was Joint Director of NHM with additional responsibilities under the Health Department, including CEO of Ayushman Bharat and ED of THPS, has been relieved from these charges and posted as Additional Secretary in the Education Department with additional charge of ABOM.

TCS officer Gideon Moisom, who previously served as Deputy Director (Administration) at B. R. Ambedkar Medical College in Agartala, has been appointed SDM of Kamalpur. He will also take charge as Executive Officer of Kamalpur NP. Ashis Biswas, TCS Gr-I, has been appointed as SDM of Belonia, while Swarup Kr. Paul, TCS Gr-I, who served as Additional SDM of Udaipur, has now been posted as Additional SDM of Belonia.

The transfer order was issued under the authority of the Governor of Tripura, and signed by J. Datta, Under Secretary to the Government of Tripura.
