The Tripura tableau, depicting the ancient rock-cut heritage site of Unakoti, was presented during the Republic Day press preview in New Delhi on Thursday. 

Highlighting the state’s rich cultural and spiritual legacy, the tableau will roll down Kartavya Path during the 77th Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2026.

Unakoti, renowned for its massive rock carvings and mythological significance, has been artistically portrayed to reflect Tripura’s unique blend of history, art, and devotion. The tableau drew appreciation from visitors and media personnel for its intricate detailing and vibrant representation of the northeastern state.

The Republic Day Parade will feature tableaux from various states and Union Territories, showcasing India’s diverse cultural heritage and developmental achievements.
