Tripura’s Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury today hosted a courtesy meeting at the Secretariat with senior officials of the Airport Authority of India (AAI), focusing on strengthening aviation services and enhancing air connectivity in the region.

The Transport Minister welcomed Gyan Batra, Regional Executive Director of AAI for the North‑Eastern region, along with Krishna Mohan Nehra, the newly appointed Airport Director of Maharaja Bir Bikram (MBB) Airport, Agartala, and former Airport Director K. C. Meena. The meeting was also attended by the Transport Department’s Secretary and Commissioner.

During the discussion, the delegation and the Transport Minister engaged in detailed talks on various matters related to air services in Tripura.
