The Raj Bhavan in Tripura will officially be renamed Lok Bhavan starting December 1, 2025.
The announcement was made by the Raj Bhavan following instructions from Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, issued after consultations with the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to the statement, the renaming of the Governor’s House is in line with directives received from the central government.
From the effective date, all official references to the Raj Bhavan will be updated to the new name. Details regarding the implementation, including changes to signage, official documents, and protocols, are expected to be shared in the coming days.
