A review meeting with all districts was held in virtual mode to expedite expenditures at the district level and ensure timely implementation of various programs. The meeting was chaired by Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS, Chief Executive Officer of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM).
The meeting was attended by the Deputy CEO, Chief Operating Officer (COO), State Mission Managers (SMMs), and other officials of TRLM. During the session, district officials were directed to accelerate fund utilization and ensure effective implementation of ongoing livelihood and development initiatives.
In addition, a separate review meeting was held on the Tripura Rural Economic Growth and Service Delivery Project (TRESP), a project funded by the World Bank and implemented by TRLM. The project is being carried out with a special focus on areas under the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).
The TRESP project includes several key components such as producer group formation, establishment of Community Horticulture Clusters (CHC), livelihood augmentation activities, and the development of model producer groups to strengthen rural livelihoods and promote sustainable economic growth in the region.
Officials emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts at the district level to ensure the successful implementation of the project and to maximize benefits for rural communities, particularly in tribal areas.
