A review meeting was held today at the Conference Hall of the State TRLM office to assess various construction-related initiatives under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). The meeting was chaired by CEO, TRLM, Tarit Kanti Chakma, IAS.

TRLM is investing a total of Rs 16.60 crore through the Rural Development (RD) Department, TREDA, and the Horticulture Department to strengthen livelihood infrastructure for Self-Help Group (SHG) members across the state.

According to official details RD Department will construct 3 large poultry farms and 6 modern piggery farms, with an investment of Rs 5.12 crore, TREDA will set up 200 solar-powered units for SHG women at a cost of Rs 7.76 crore, Horticulture Department will construct modern poly houses worth Rs 3.20 crore for SHG members.

The initiatives aim to enhance sustainable livelihood opportunities and improve income generation for rural women associated with SHGs in Tripura.
