Excitement is mounting at Umakanta Academy English Medium School as Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is scheduled to interact with students through a live video conference on 13th October.

The event, organized under the initiative of NITI Aayog, is part of a nationwide program involving approximately one crore students from across India.

Its primary aim is to encourage innovation and foster the spirit of self-reliance (Swadeshi) among young learners.

According to school principal Ramkrishna Bhattacharya, Umakanta Academy has formed a dedicated team to participate, registering 100 students for the session. During the program, the students will present a model on the theme of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India), with a strict time limit of three minutes.

Notably, Umakanta Academy English Medium School, along with PM Shri Sabroom Girls’ Higher Secondary School and Udaipur English Medium School, has been designated as a spotlight school from Tripura. From Umakanta Academy, three students will have the unique opportunity to directly interact with the Union Education Minister during the conference.

The entire school community is eagerly anticipating this prestigious national-level event, which promises to inspire students to think creatively and actively contribute to India’s vision of self-reliance and innovation.
