In a landmark development for the region, the Union Minister, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia likely to lay the foundation stone of the Agar Cluster Processing Center in Baragole of North District on the 24 January. The project, estimated to cost around Rs. 27 crore, marks the first time a national-level initiative is being launched in Baragole, located in the Kadamtala block.

Officials emphasized that the Agar Cluster Processing Center is expected to open new avenues for employment, benefiting local farmers, youth, and self-help groups. The initiative will also modernize and organize the agar industry in the region, boosting economic growth and development.
