Ahead of the by-election in the 56 Dharmanagar Assembly constituency, the voting process for polling personnel has commenced in Dharmanagar.
The polling is being held at the hall of Bir Bikram Institution in the town on Friday.
Polling officials, including personnel from the police department and other election staff assigned to the by-election, are participating in the process. Returning Officer Devyani Chowdhury stated that a total of 159 voters will exercise their franchise through ballot boxes.
According to administrative sources, the voting is scheduled to take place from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM over two days, April 3 and 4. All designated polling personnel are casting their votes with enthusiasm in a smooth and orderly environment.
The administration has made all necessary arrangements to ensure that the by-election is conducted in a free, fair, and peaceful manner.
