Tripura Police from the East Agartala Police Station have arrested Raja Saha, a long-standing fugitive wanted in an NDPS case, following a covert operation.

According to police sources, the operation was carried out late last night based on confidential intelligence. Saha was apprehended near the Shani Mandir area under the jurisdiction of East Agartala Police Station.

Raja Saha, a resident of the Town Pratapgarh area, had been evading arrest since 2025 in connection with the NDPS case.

Purba Police Station Officer-in-Charge Subrata Debnath confirmed that the arrest followed credible information. Saha is expected to be presented in court today, and a detailed investigation into the matter has been launched by the police.
