The speech of Governor Indrasena Reddy in the assembly is not only a normal speech but a constitutional reflection of democratic governance, a blueprint of the state’s overall development, progress and people-centric work.

This was said by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath today while conveying thanks in support of the Governor's speech in the ongoing session of the Tripura Legislative Assembly.

He said that the Governor has given a speech with direction and he wants to convey thanks and gratitude for it.

“The speech of the Governor is not only a normal speech but a constitutional reflection of democratic governance, a blueprint of the state’s overall development, progress, and people-centric work. After a long time, I have listened to such a kind of speech. Apart from this, the most important point is that he has delivered the speech in Bengali and Kokborok as well. For this, I want to convey thanks. In the Governor's speech, he has clearly mentioned the development works being done under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha and other works that this present government is doing for the welfare of the people,” he said.

The Minister said that in every aspect, the state government is working, and this has been reflected in the Governor's speech. Earlier, not a single Governor had delivered a speech in this way.

“He has mentioned each and every group, including SC, ST, journalists, artists, and even the last person in society. He has highlighted what ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ is. The country, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been witnessing massive development. Indian civilization and culture have always celebrated equality and national unity. ‘One nation, one soul, one life’ is our national ideal,” he said.

He also said that over the past ten to twelve years, the continuity of our country's development and prosperity has been praised and admired all over the world.

“Over the past decade, our country has shown that with competent leadership, it is possible to move forward by overcoming all kinds of weaknesses and obstacles. India has now become the fourth largest economy in the world. According to World Bank data and IMF, India is soon going to become the third largest economy in the world. Road construction and transport system development are going on across the entire country at an unimaginable pace under the Bharatmala project. Continuous work is going on for the development of the agricultural system and agro-dependent livelihoods. Solar energy and solar energy-based technology are being widely used for developmental work under the National Solar Mission project,” he said.

He said that the state government is working for the last person of society.

The Minister also criticized the CPI(M) and said that people have rejected them, and even China has moved beyond Communism. CPI(M) uses capitalism but favors foreign brands. What kind of communism is this? CPI(M) is like a 10-rupee coin rejected by the public.

He also called on people to unite for making Tripura a Viksit Tripura.
