The Higher Secondary examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education began today across the state, marking an important academic milestone for thousands of students.

On the first day, candidates  appeared for their English paper, which commenced at 12 noon.

Meanwhile, 26,411 students are appearing for the Higher Secondary examination this year, comprising 12,246 boys and 14,164 girls. A total of 85 candidates are participating in the Madrasa Fazil examination, including 58 boys and 27 girls. The Higher Secondary and equivalent examinations are being held at 99 venues under 62 centers across the state.

This year, a total of 32,404 students are appearing for the Madhyamik examination. Among them, 14,629 are boys and 17,375 are girls. In addition, 155 candidates are taking the Madrasa Alim examination, including 129 boys and 26 girls. The Madhyamik examination is being conducted across 145 venues under 69 centers throughout the state.

Chief Minister Manik Saha extended his heartfelt wishes to all students appearing for the board examinations. In a message shared on social media, he described the examination as the beginning of a new chapter in the students’ lives. He encouraged them to move forward with confidence, perseverance, and a positive mindset, expressing hope that their hard work would translate into success and pave the way for a bright future.
