Panic spread in the North Rautkhala area of the Bishalgarh bypass road following a head-on collision between two vehicles today. 

Several passengers were injured in the accident, with the condition of some reported to be critical. Due to the impact of the collision, both vehicles were badly mangled.

Upon receiving information about the incident, personnel from the Fire and Emergency Services rushed to the spot. With the help of local residents, they rescued the injured and shifted them to Bishalgarh Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment. The accident led to temporary disruption of traffic in the area.

According to police sources, the cause of the accident is being investigated. Medical treatment of the injured is ongoing, and arrangements for advanced care are being made if required.
