Tripura DIT conducts eOffice training for IAS probationers

The Directorate of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Tripura, today organised a detailed training session on eOffice for four IAS probationers of the Tripura cadre at IT Bhavan, Agartala.

The session was led by Jeya Ragul Geshan B, IFS, Director of IT, who personally interacted with the young officers. He shared insights into the state’s major digital initiatives and emphasized the growing role of technology in governance.

During the training, the probationers were introduced to the workings of eOffice—Tripura’s flagship administrative tool aimed at streamlining official processes and promoting digital efficiency.

“As part of the programme, the officers also visited the State Data Centre to gain firsthand experience of its operations and its vital role in enabling seamless e-governance,” the IT Director said.

This initiative, he added, reflects the state government’s commitment to fostering a new generation of tech-savvy administrators capable of leading with innovation and efficiency.

Prior to the training, the IAS probationers had called on Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha upon their arrival in the state.
