The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday launched a massive raid across four locations in Tripura, targeting individuals allegedly linked to multiple fraud cases, land mafia networks, and other illegal activities.
Confirming the development, an official said that the raids were conducted at three locations under West Tripura district — ONGC area, Camper Bazar, and Khayerpur — and one location in Nalchar under Sepahijala district.
The official further added that the raids were carried out following intelligence inputs suggesting deep-rooted connections of the suspects with financial fraud and illegal land dealings.
The operation was still underway at the time of reporting.
