A disturbing incident has sparked concern in the Jayanta Koloi Para locality under Teliamura Police Station after an elderly man was discovered dead at his home.

According to local reports, residents noticed on Sunday evening that Mahendra Debbarma was found hanging from the veranda of his house. The incident quickly spread alarm among people in the neighborhood, creating an atmosphere of tension and unease.

Police were immediately alerted, and a team from Teliamura Police Station reached the spot to begin a preliminary inquiry. The body was later recovered and shifted to Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital, where it has been kept in the morgue.
