Authorities have declared the entire Udaipur Subdivision a no-fly zone on June 5, 2026, ahead of the scheduled visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The order, issued by the District Magistrate of Gomati district under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), prohibits the operation of drones and all other aerial devices, whether remotely controlled, manually operated, or autonomous, throughout the day.
Officials said the restriction has been enforced as part of heightened security arrangements for the Home Minister’s visit. The order will remain effective across the subdivision, with the exception of the OTPC helipad at Palatana, which has been exempted from the no-fly zone restrictions.
The District Magistrate has cautioned that any violation of the directive will invite legal action under the applicable provisions of law.
Security agencies and local authorities have been instructed to ensure strict compliance with the order to maintain safety and security during the high-profile visit.
