Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath today said that the main intention is that those who are against the NDA alliance and those who are against the people, against the state, and those who do not want the development of the state, should not get a single seat or a single vote in the upcoming Village Committee elections.
The Minister said this while chairing a key meeting of the NDA partner including BJP, Tipra Motha and IPFT at Manu Dak Bungalow under Dhalai District in view of the upcoming Village Committee elections.
He said that the main purpose of the meeting was the Village Committee election, which is a very important election as it is being held after a long gap of 10 years.
“Usually, we have been voting in elections through voting machines. This time, the vote is being held through ballot papers. The most micro-level elections are the Village Committee election and the Panchayat election. These elections involve very complex processes. Although we fought separately in the ADC election, this was also a strategy for us. The parties decide what will be the strategy of my party, what will be the strategy of the Tipra Motha party and what will be the strategy of the IPFT party. This time, we have decided to fight jointly,” he said.
The Minister said that since they are representatives of the three parties in the government and are part of the state government, they are going to fight together.
“In various places, even after seat sharing, there are some shortcomings in various places. We have come here to see those shortcomings. Our main objective is that those who are against the NDA alliance, whoever they are, be it Congress, CPIM, or whoever is against the NDA alliance, are identified as enemies by the people of this state. We, the people of this state, consider them enemies of the state, enemies of the country,” said the Minister.
The Minister said that some believe in capitalism, while some believe in communism.
“We do not believe in such policy. We think about the development of the last person. So here again, a little while ago, we heard that there is a problem in some seats. We have also reported that. Our main intention is that those who are against the NDA alliance, that is, those who are against the people, against the people of the state, and those who do not want the development of the state, should not get a single seat or a single vote. That is our main intention,” he added.
