A 65-year-old woman from Dabbari village under Salema in Kamalpur subdivision has been missing for the past 26 days, leaving her family deeply worried. With no trace of her since she went missing on July 4, her husband has now appealed to the public through the media for help in locating her.
According to family members, Namita Das, a resident of Salema Dabbari, left her home around 9:00 am on July 4 without informing anyone. She did not return, prompting her family to search extensively at relatives' houses and other possible locations, but all efforts proved unsuccessful.
As there was still no information about her whereabouts, her husband, Nripendra Das, lodged a missing diary at Kachu Chhara Police Station on July 23. Police have since initiated an investigation, but no breakthrough had been made till the filing of this report.
Distressed by his wife's prolonged disappearance, Nripendra Das has appealed to the public to come forward with any information that could help trace her. He requested that anyone who has seen Namita Das or knows about her whereabouts immediately inform the family or contact the nearest police station.
The family is hoping for her safe and early return and has urged people to extend their support in locating the missing woman.
