The Office of the Election Commissioner for District Council in Agartala has officially released the timeline for preparing and publishing electoral rolls for the upcoming General Election to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) scheduled in 2026.

As per the announcement issued by Election Commissioner Manoj Kumar, IAS (Retd), the draft electoral rolls covering all District Council constituencies will be made public on February 27, 2026. After the draft rolls are published, voters will have the opportunity to submit claims and objections until March 6, 2026.

Authorities have set March 10, 2026, as the deadline for addressing and resolving all claims and objections received during the review period. The final version of the electoral rolls is scheduled to be published on March 13, 2026.

Officials further clarified that the District Council’s electoral rolls will be compiled using the final electoral rolls of the State Assembly Constituencies that were published by the Election Commission of India on October 1, 2025.

The notification also emphasized that the entire process will be conducted in accordance with the provisions laid down in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (Constitution, Election and Conduct of Business) Rules, 1985, ensuring adherence to established legal guidelines.
