Tripura Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday said the BJP has launched a series of panchayat-level organisational meetings to further strengthen the party's grassroots network and enhance its outreach across the state.

Speaking after attending an organisational meeting at Majlishpur Gram Panchayat under the Majlishpur Assembly constituency, the minister said the initiative, taken by the Majlishpur Mandal, brought together elected panchayat representatives, booth presidents, party leaders and karyakartas to review organisational activities and discuss future strategies.

Chowdhury said the discussions focused on reinforcing booth-level committees, expanding the party's presence at the grassroots, and ensuring that the welfare schemes and development initiatives of both the Central and State governments reach every household.

He said the meeting also emphasized strengthening public engagement and building greater trust among people from all sections of society through regular interaction and effective implementation of welfare programmes.

The minister reiterated that the party remains committed to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, guided by the principle of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas." He said the BJP's primary objective is to ensure the welfare and inclusive development of every citizen, particularly those at the last mile of society, in line with the philosophy of Antyodaya.
