Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha is set to visit New Delhi, where key discussions on the Bharatiya Janata Party's organisational affairs, upcoming programmes, and electoral strategy are expected to take place.

Speaking about his visit, Dr. Saha said that travelling to New Delhi is a regular part of his organisational responsibilities within the party. He explained that such visits are held to review organisational matters, attend workshops, and discuss forthcoming programmes.

"We have to visit Delhi regularly for organisational responsibilities. Discussions are held on organisational matters, workshops and other upcoming programmes. That is the main purpose of this visit," the Chief Minister said.

Dr. Saha stated that no specific agenda has been officially announced so far and that the details of the meetings will become clearer after his arrival in the national capital. However, he indicated that preparations for the upcoming elections are likely to be one of the key issues on the agenda.

"There is every possibility that discussions will focus on how to prepare for and face the upcoming elections. That is the purpose of this visit and nothing else," he said.

Political observers believe the visit comes at a significant time, as various political parties in Tripura have already begun preparations for upcoming elections and organisational activities. The Chief Minister's Delhi visit is therefore expected to involve important deliberations on strengthening party coordination, finalising election strategies, and outlining the BJP's future political roadmap in the state.
