The 11th Battalion of the Tripura State Rifles (TSR), stationed at Ex-Gariadafadar Post, in collaboration with the Kalyanpur Community Health Centre (CHC), organised a health camp at the Gariadafadar Post premises on Sunday.

The medical team included Medical Officers Dr. Supriya Barman and Dr. Hiliyan Debbarma, along with five supporting staff members. A total of 71 local villagers benefited from the camp, receiving free health check-ups and essential medicines.

Alongside the medical services, the battalion also conducted a public awareness programme focused on key social issues, including the harmful effects of child marriage and drug abuse. Participants were also sensitised about the “Track Me” feature of the Tripura Police 112 Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) mobile application, aimed at strengthening personal safety and rapid emergency response.

Officials stated that the initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the Tripura State Rifles towards community welfare, preventive healthcare, and strengthening public awareness at the grassroots level.
