Representatives of the ATTF's Alendra Debbarma faction, NLFT's Prasenjit Debbarma (Haste Fa) faction and NLFT's Parimal Debbarma faction have decided to withdraw their proposed strike programme following discussions with Tripura Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma at Baramura on Friday.

According to the minister, the meeting focused on various demands raised by the representatives of the three groups. He said most of the issues have witnessed positive progress, while necessary steps are being taken for the early resolution of the remaining legitimate demands.

Giving top priority to peace, stability, normal public life and the overall development of the state, the minister said the issues were reviewed in detail and necessary directions were provided during the meeting. Following the discussions, the representatives agreed to withdraw the announced strike programme, a move he described as "positive and responsible."

Bikas Debbarma expressed confidence that all issues can be resolved through mutual trust and constructive initiatives. He reiterated the government's commitment to maintaining peace, harmony and development while addressing the legitimate aspirations of the people.

The withdrawal of the strike programme is expected to bring relief to residents and help ensure the continuation of normal activities across the state.
