The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday launched a two-day mandal-level training programme under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Maha Abhiyan at Kamini Kumar Singh Memorial School in Dhaleswar under 9 Banamalipur Mandal.
The programme was inaugurated by Tripura BJP President and Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee in the presence of senior party leaders, workers, and office bearers. BJP State Vice-President Subal Bhowmik and party spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty were also present during the inaugural session.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajib Bhattacharjee stressed the importance of regular training programmes for party workers, stating that such initiatives help strengthen the party’s ideological foundation and organisational structure. He said the camp has been designed to improve the efficiency, communication skills, and public engagement of grassroots-level workers.
The BJP leader further said the party is focusing on expanding and reinforcing its organisation across the state by following the principles and vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. He added that strengthening booth-level activities and increasing awareness about government welfare programmes among the public are among the key objectives of the training camp.
According to party sources, the two-day programme will include sessions on organisational strategy, political outreach, welfare schemes of the government, and the responsibilities of party workers in strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
