In a significant step towards enhancing cyber governance and improving service delivery, Shri Jitendra Kumar Sinha, IAS, Chief Secretary of the Government of Tripura, chaired a meeting of the State Level Cyber Security Steering Committee Secretariat (SLCSSC) to discuss the introduction of defined timelines for the disbursement of stipends, incentives, and reimbursements under the Tripura Cyber Security Policy, 2025 (TCSP 2.0).
The meeting focused on streamlining administrative processes and ensuring the timely delivery of benefits to stakeholders under the state's cybersecurity policy framework. The initiative is expected to strengthen transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the implementation of cybersecurity-related programs and incentives.
The meeting was attended by Shri Kiran Gitte, IAS, Secretary, Information Technology, Government of Tripura; Dr. Parshant Kumar Goyal, IAS, Secretary, Finance, Government of Tripura; Jeya Ragul Geshan B, IFS, Director, Information Technology, Government of Tripura; Nabadwip Jamatia, Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime, Tripura; Niladri Das, Director-in-Charge, NIELIT Agartala; and Shri Subhasish Kar, Director-in-Charge, ETDC, STQC Directorate, Agartala, along with other senior officers and concerned officials.
During the deliberations, the committee emphasized the importance of establishing clear timelines and robust monitoring mechanisms to ensure the effective implementation of the provisions under TCSP 2.0. The move is aimed at encouraging greater participation in cybersecurity initiatives and fostering a secure digital ecosystem across the state.
The Government of Tripura continues to prioritize cybersecurity as a key component of its digital transformation agenda, with TCSP 2.0 serving as a strategic framework for capacity building, skill development, and cyber resilience.
