Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha today said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as one of the world’s leading start-up hubs, while development initiatives are steadily reaching all sections of society.

Speaking at a press conference held at the Bharatiya Janata Party state office in Krishnanagar, Agartala, Dr. Saha said that India is on the verge of witnessing a “historic milestone” as Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 12 years in office. He described the period as a transformative phase marked by change, fulfilled aspirations, and the vision of building a “New India.”

According to the Chief Minister, the past 12 years have seen rising confidence, innovation, and competitiveness across sectors. He said that India’s global standing has significantly improved and that the country is now being widely respected on the international stage. He added that the Prime Minister’s long tenure will be remembered in history for its impact on governance and development.

Dr. Saha expressed gratitude on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Tripura to the people of the country and acknowledged Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. He noted that the Prime Minister has consistently worked to address the hopes and aspirations of citizens and has earned widespread public trust.

Highlighting governance reforms, Dr. Saha said the government has focused on transparency, accountability, and effective coordination. He referred to the guiding principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas,” stating that it reflects the vision of inclusive development.

He further said that India has strengthened its position as a major global economy and has entered into multiple international partnerships. Structural reforms and financial discipline, he added, have contributed to stable governance and economic growth.

The Chief Minister also pointed to initiatives such as Start-up India, which he said have created a strong ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship. He stated that India is now recognized as a global leader in digital transactions and is advancing rapidly in technology, research, and innovation.

Dr. Saha concluded that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, development is increasingly reaching the grassroots level, while youth empowerment and sports development are also receiving significant attention, strengthening India’s overall global presence.
