The Tripura government has intensified preparations for the upcoming Destination Tripura: Business Conclave 2026, aiming to make the event a major platform for promoting investment and industrial growth in the state.

A comprehensive review meeting was convened at the Hapania International Fair Ground auditorium in Agartala under the leadership of Industries and Commerce Minister Santana Chakma. Senior officials from various government departments and representatives associated with the conclave participated in the discussions.

The meeting focused on evaluating the progress of preparations, strengthening coordination among departments, and finalising logistical and administrative arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the conclave. Authorities reviewed key operational aspects and outlined measures to deliver a well-coordinated event for investors, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry representatives.

The Business Conclave is expected to highlight Tripura's expanding investment potential in sectors such as industry, infrastructure, tourism, agriculture, and allied services. Through the event, the state government aims to showcase its investor-friendly policies and create opportunities for partnerships that can accelerate economic development and generate employment.

Officials expressed confidence that, with coordinated efforts and meticulous planning, Destination Tripura: Business Conclave 2026 will serve as a significant milestone in positioning Tripura as an attractive investment hub in the Northeast, while opening new avenues for sustainable industrial and economic growth.
