Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Manohar Lal Khattar, is scheduled to arrive in Tripura on May 31 as part of a three-day tour covering Mizoram, West Bengal, and Tripura from May 29 to 31, 2026.
During the visit, he will take part in events marking six years of the PM SVANidhi Scheme and is expected to interact with beneficiaries from across the North-Eastern states at a special programme in Agartala.
The Union Minister is also set to hold review meetings with state officials on issues related to the Power and Urban Affairs sectors. In Tripura, he is likely to examine the state’s power infrastructure, visit key power plants, and discuss operational matters with officials of the state Power Department.
