The District Magistrate and Collector of West Tripura, Dr. Vishal Kumar, conducted an extensive field inspection across several areas under the Jirania RD Block on Friday to review the progress of ongoing development projects and assess the delivery of public services.

The visit began in the morning from Nalgaria Bazar and covered multiple key locations, including West Rani Ganj SB School, the Majlishpur Anganwadi Centre, the construction site of a new Gram Panchayat building, several ongoing CC road projects, Harijoy Chowdhury Park, and the Brajanagar Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub-Health Centre.

During the inspection, the District Magistrate closely reviewed the pace and quality of development works and examined the condition of public infrastructure and service delivery systems. He also interacted with local residents, elected representatives, and government officials to gather feedback on local issues, needs, and developmental priorities.

Emphasizing timely completion and quality assurance, Dr. Kumar directed the concerned departments to expedite ongoing projects while ensuring that public services remain efficient and accessible to all citizens. He stressed the importance of strengthening implementation mechanisms to ensure that welfare schemes reach beneficiaries effectively.

At the end of the day, a review meeting was held at the North Majlishpur Gram Panchayat, where officials and stakeholders discussed the progress of various schemes in detail. The meeting concluded with decisions on necessary follow-up actions to improve execution and monitoring of ongoing works.

The district administration stated that such regular field visits play a crucial role in identifying grassroots issues, monitoring development activities, and ensuring the effective delivery of welfare initiatives. It reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening development and public welfare efforts across West Tripura District and the Jirania RD Block region.
